The "Funeral Sentences" (Henry Purcell, 1659 - 1695), by Chorus Passionis conducted by Jan Bijkerk and accompanied by Het Helikon Saxofoon Kwartet,

Klaas de Vries' (1944) "Twee koralen" (Two chorals) by Het HSK and

the combined perfomance of the "Deutsche Sprüche von Leben und Tod" (German aphorisms about life and death) (Leonhardt Lechner,1553 - 1606) and "Totentanz nach dem Lübecker Totentanz" (Dance of death from the Lubeck dance of death) (Johannes Klöcking,....?) by Chorus Passionis accompanied by Het HSK, Norbert Busschers, actor, as the voice of the death and Laurens ten Den, actor, as the death' opponent.

The music was recorded in the Blasiuskerk (-church), Delden, the 25th of may 1997 and in the Twentse Schouwburg (Theatre of Twente), Enschede, the 29th of may 1997.
